The History of Rhondda Veterans Support Group ®©.

 In February 2009 the
first meeting of the Rhondda Veterans Support Group ®©. took place, which places
the Rhondda Veterans Support Group as the first independant support group in Wales

Unfortunately, during the summer of 2010 our meeting
venue at Trealaw Mental Health Unit became unavailable to us
and the search for another venue was on...

We are very grateful to the staff of the Blue Skies
Cafe Bar, Lakeside Buildings Clydach Vale, for the offer to use the Terry
Venables Lounge at the Cafe Bar for our weekly meetings.

We are very proud of the fact that Rhondda Veterans Support Group ®©. was
the FIRST independant Veterans Support Group in Wales.
We are the ONLY Veterans Support Group in Wales supporting Veterans of
both the Armed Forces and the Emercency Services who are suffering the effects of
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

The group has steadily increased in numbers and
we have continued to offer support to veterans of the Armed Forces and
Emergency Services regardless of age or conflict,
Also to their families within Rhondda Cynon Taff, and surrounding area.

Rhondda Veterans Support Group would like to make it PERFECTLY Clear
that it has NOT changed it`s name to...................Military Veterans Support Services

The Memberships of both Jim Kenchington and Chris Evans were terminated
by Rhondda Veterans Support Group
on the 8th of September 2011
for reasons we are not prepared to disclose online.

In November 2011 both Jim Kenchington and Chris Evans set up a NEW organisation called

Military Veterans Support Services

Jim Kenchington and Chris Evans
have absolutely NOTHING to do in connection with

RHONDDA VETERANS SUPPORT GROUP ®©.
